Grace Haven Academy is a Christian Boarding School ministering to troubled and at risk youth. We are situated in rural central North Carolina on a beautiful fifty acre campus.
Our facilities include:
1. Dormitory for housing boys and girls.
2. Learning center for academic education using a self paced curriculum through grade 12.
3. Kitchen and Dining facilities.
4. Large open chapel for warm weather events with Christian speakers and singers.
5. Bumper Pool and Table tennis.
6. A one acre lake with fishing, swimming, and paddle boat.
7. Picnic area with basketball court.
8. Weekly outing activities.
9. Christian Sattelite TV.
10. Movie night with popcorn.
Who may attend?
The youth that come to Grace Haven may do so for a variety of reasons, ranging from the homeless and runaways to those who are struggling with difficulties at home.
Below are examples of youth that Grace Haven will consider accepting:
Homeless Youth - Those who have for one reason or another found themselves without an acceptable place to stay.
At Risk Youth: - Youth currently living at home, but they have run into problems of one kind or another.
Our Program
Alpha / Omega Christian School Curriculum - This is a programmed academic course that allows a student to progress at his/her own individual learning level.
L . I . F. E. Curriculum - A practical curriculum used in group devotions and Bible Study. The program deals with how to apply Biblical truth to real situations. Through the program, students will witness Biblical truth not only in the teaching sessions, but as it is lived out in the life of staff and volunteers.
